Friday, April 30, at 11 AM  six "Amanogawa" cherry trees, now in full bloom, that were planted last year with a grant from Lowes Patchogue were dedicated. The theme of the grant was Hometown Heroes, and these trees were dedicated to 6 individuals who have made a difference due to their beautification efforts in the Village of Patchogue, Karl Boysen (deceased), Donald Felice, Josephine Miller, Doug Steigerwald, Eloise Staudinger (deceased), and Carl Unger.
